VIP admission tickets add the following benefits ($60 total):

  • Entrance to the festival at Noon, 1 hour prior to general admission; first access to special limited beers.
  • Brew caddy with Big Texas Beer Fest-branded lanyard to hold your sampler cup.
  • After party at Deep Ellum Brewing Co. from 6:30-8:30pm for VIPs (and their designated drivers) only!
  • Only a limited amount of VIP tickets will be available so that your early access is worthwhile.

We don’t like the 24oz limitation at a beer festival in Texas as much as you don’t, and that’s why we’re pricing additional sampling cards really low. The day of the festival, you’ll be able to purchase additional sampling cards for only $2. These sample cards come with (12) 2oz samples! Legally we have to charge you something.

*If tickets are available the day of the festival, designated driver tickets will be $20, and general admission tickets will be $40. VIP tickets will not be sold at the door, so please purchase them in advance.

About Us

Chad and Nellie Montgomery are the sole driving force behind planning the Big Texas Beer Fest. Make no mistake, a lot of our friends have stepped up along the way and helped us out in uncountable ways. Without help, none of this would be possible.

Chad and Nellie visited Denver, CO in September 2010 to attend the Great American Beer Festival and had a phenomenal time. The city came alive with beer events throughout the week that happened organically as a result of the amazing beer festival that culminated at the end of the week.

Many of these events benefit charity, bring good people together to drink amazing beers, focus on everything craftbeer, promote small businesses (breweries, restaurants, great bars, and more), and local economy. We both wondered why Dallas had no craftbeer festival. While we didn’t know the answer, we knew that this had to be corrected.

The Big Texas Beer Fest is North Texas’ first 100% craftbeer inspired beer festival. The festival will feature 80-100 breweries with 300+ beers from all over the world. The festival will focus heavily on the emerging Texas craft beer scene. A number of Texas breweries have already promised us exclusive kegs and firkins for this event, with many more planned to come.

The festival will also feature many food trucks to sample local artisanal food. Free cheese samples and lots of other free stuff to check out. Local Dallas music act The O’s (www.wearetheos.com) to perform!
